Monthly Meetups

We plan to have a meetup at least once a month. Currently we are planning on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30. We welcome suggestions for both times and places.
Generally a meetup is around two hours long.

  • First 15 min to half hour: introductions
    • Who are you?
    • What brings you here?
    • What do you do?
    • How do you use Drupal?
    • What are your websites, what companies do you work for?
    • Generally catching up.
  • Then presentation. This works well if it is from a half hour to an hour.
  • Next hour, one of two things:
    • Q and A on the presentation
    • Branching out into small group discussion. Divide up into several small groups focused on specific topics. For example, there might be small groups on: theming, module development, etc.

Generally, after the two hours, you might order another round at the bar.

twentypixel will provide pizza from Art of Pizza. Bring your own beer.

Don't forget to SIGN UP! We finally secured space at the library for the rest of the year. We are still open to other venues but this way we always have a place to meet. The only way this will work is to have a meeting every month.

Come out and join us for the first Drupal KC user's group meeting. The meeting will be held at Longbranch, a map can be found here. They do offer free wifi so bring your laptop. I hope to have a projector for people to show current and past web projects.
